An ex-Olympian, Erle competed in the Sydney 2000 Olympics Australian Boxing Team. He has over 20 years of experience in the sport of boxing, both in the ring and as a coach.

Trained by Geoff Peterson, Erle has represented Australia in the Olympics.
Erle is a state champion, Australian Champion and Oceania Champion boxer
Has represented Australia in mainly international tournaments, including the 1998 Commonwealth games in Malaysia
Spent years in the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) as an elite boxer
Has worked as an Assistant Head Coach in the AIS Australian Boxing Team.
